The sampling plan we used was cluster sampling. We collected our data by taking our class roster for each period and assigned each student on each roster a number. We both excluded the period we had AP Statistics. In each period, we used a random number generator to pick out a group of six students. These student’s numbers were then used in a random number generator again to form three pairs for three games of tic-tac-toe. Our total sample space was thirty-six pairs for thirty-six games of tic-tac-toe
