5. Evaluative Questions:
A. Would you feel threatened to show your project to an expert for evaluation?
No I would not. My project is one in which I placed a good deal of work into. I am having with the end result and would want others to view it.
B. List three examples of personal satisfaction gained from this experience.
1. Mr. Paul was a great mentor to me. He was so interesting and good at playing bass. The stories that he told me made our time together much more fun. He also taught me what a bass really was and what its role was in a band.
2. Playing a song was a great accomplishment. When I first began I never imagined I would be able to actually play a song.
C. What is the most important skill you have acquired during the project phase?
Finger placement on the fret board was very difficult in the beginning. It took a great deal of time to get my finger feeling comfortable. Knowing the fret board wasn’t something that came easy either.

1. “It looks good, I can tell you worked hard” – Chris Speed
2. “Looks good” - Gina Picot
3.
E. Be very specific and describe how the project has stretched you; emotionally, intellectually and/or physically.
I feel that before the project I hadn’t had a really touch academic and out of school challenge. I was overwhelmed when I first began writing my research paper. However I managed to work through it. By me doing the hours early I saved a lot of time and hassle.
F. How do you feel your project would compare to other similar projects? Explain why?
I suppose they could always be equal. My friends have been telling me that I am doing way to much work on it. It seems as if most of my fellow classmates are relaxed about it. I really wanted to give 110% this school year and this project has been a major part of it.

H. How did you handle these problems?
I. Is your project original or creative in any way?
It is creative in that I am using different playing methods.
J. Describe very specifically how you strove to make your project the very best quality you could.
K. How do you feel about having your project available as a model for next year's students?
It would be a good idea. I would like to altar it a bit for a more viewer friendly feel.
M. If given the opportunity to redo the project, what would you do differently?
Put more emphasis on different playing methods. Possibly elaborate a little more in my paper.
N. beyond the project itself, what did you learn about yourself?
I learned that I can do a very hard project. I feel that if I just had to play the bass and did not have to worry about all of the deadlines and such. That I would have done a better job in that I would have actually had time to play my bass more.
O. What grade would you give yourself for your project? Justify the evaluation of your grade in at least 25 words. Give very specific support.
I would give myself a 95. I feel that I excelled in every area of the Project. Not only did I try hard but I really did try and succeed to learn the bass guitar.
